Uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common, particularly in women, and can cause symptoms such as a frequent urge to urinate, burning sensation when urinating, and lower abdominal discomfort. While UTIs are typically not serious, they can be uncomfortable and disruptive if left untreated.
Our Pharmacy First treatment service allows us to assess your symptoms and provide advice on managing UTIs. In some cases, our pharmacists may recommend antibiotics if necessary, or suggest over-the-counter remedies to help alleviate discomfort while the infection clears. We can also offer advice on prevention to reduce the chances of recurrence.
